So, my name is Nicky if you didn’t know, I am a creative type that occasionally comes up with some good ideas for things and decides to make them a reality. I have always had a creative side to me, I love drawing, I do lots of digital drawings on my tablet and I have used those designs previously on other thing’s I have made. I like to mess about with different medias that take my fancy at the time, I’ve done clay making, sewing, epoxy resin, vinyl, printing & many more over the years. I like to keep my hand in with creative things as it helps keep my mind busy and out of trouble! 😈🤣

If you know me, then you’ll know I am also a big dog lover, I have two dogs myself and they are my best friends, they keep me entertained and are my walking partners, without them I wouldn’t walk as far as I do every day! I also love walking and fitness, when I walk, I tend to do around 3-4 miles each day, I like to stay fit and as healthy as I can. I also do weight training, I’m not a gym buff or anything like that though, I do it to stay in shape, yes, I know round is a shape but I don’t fancy being round 😄 So I keep fit that way, I used to be very round for a while, until one day I bought myself a dress, put it on & saw how hideous I looked in it and took a photo, from that day onward in Feb 2022, I started walking miles and doing workouts every day, I slowly lost weight and then I started weight training and I never looked back! I am now back to the size I was when I was in my early 20’s and I’m so happy now. I will never be big again 😊

My other huge passion is cars, I am a big car woman – particularly VW Group cars, I love anything in the VAG (that’s Volkswagen Audi Group for those that think I am talking about lady parts!) and have had many many over the years, I currently own a Mk1 Audi TT, which I absolutely adore, little pocket rocket it is & a Mk3 VW Scirocco GT, which I adore also – that’s my daily. Other than being creative, loving my cars, dogs and staying fit, I also love anything spooky and weird. A little while back I made a YouTube channel and started making video’s. I started off just making reaction videos so I could dip my toe in the water, so to speak. I found I enjoyed it and I had a few subscribers so I then went on from that to making my own videos about the paranormal & true crime – like they say, the rest is history! I have a few more subscribers now and I have a fair few videos I’ve done, I also on the very odd occasion drop in some dog walking short videos – my YouTube name is Spooky Misfit 😉 So, if you like the paranormal, true crimes or dogs, then check it out, you never know you might enjoy it!

Now, onto Creative Misfit …..

Why did I choose the name firstly? Well mostly because I am the Misfit of the family or the black sheep if you will, but Creative Black Sheep didn’t sound as good 😁 I had the website Creative Misfit before, a couple of years back and I just thought why change what’s good for me, so I went back to it. As I said I like to create thing’s and I have been making vinyl stickers (Or decals as Americans call them) for a while now and I thought I’d go back to selling, so Creative Misfit made a comeback!

You will also see anything else I might like to create on here, I may even sell other thing’s, who knows!? But you will also see my blog, I am a bit of a chatter box so having a place to let out what’s on my mind, without boring the people too much on threads, I thought a blog would be good for me.
